I’m worried about coronavirus. How can therapy help?

This is an uncertain time and many of us are concerned about the changing world around us and both the current and future impact of Coronavirus. You may be feeling isolated, overwhelmed, afraid and struggling with anxiety, caused or heightened during this time. You are not alone. Depression, relationship issues, loss or loneliness, going through a major life transition or simply feel stuck in old patterns of behaviour that don’t serve you, are all common responses to unsettling times. Therapy can help you find a way to move forward.

It may be difficult to speak with friends or family who might be offering you advice which you find unhelpful, or you may not want to burden them.

If struggling alone with your difficulties is affecting your daily life it is helpful to talk things through with a professional. Sometimes voicing your worries aloud with someone you trust can help bring you clarity and freedom to create a happier, more balanced life.
